COMMUNITY SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE HBSCA
FIREWORKS
No doubt you are aware of the issues related to the ongoing discharge of fireworks in our community. The Humber Bay Shores Condominium Associ- ation has been working with the local Councillor and the City of Toronto to address fireworksrelatedissuesinourlocalparks.
Over the Canada Day weekend, Toronto Police were out in our community to respond to the increase in fireworks related complaints. While they were in the parks, they saw a number of fireworks
being discharged from local condo build- ings in the area.
We all have to be part of the solution, and these behaviours are dangerous and could lead to fires or injury. Please ensure that residents in your building are not dis- charging fireworks from balconies, common spaces, or any other area of condo private property. Please instruct your secu- rity services to be vigilant, and to take appropriate action to stop the discharge of fireworks on condo property.
